We may not get it right all the time but our job is to ‘always TRY to do good,’ that which is most beneficial, firstly to those in our church family, that’s our training ground, but ultimately to everyone we meet! If we can’t get it right with our brothers and sisters we’ll never get it right in the world. Revenge is not sweet, cursing just rebounds on ourselves and removing ourselves just ends up bringing division and isolation. We need to champion and nurture community so that it is a sustainable place of refuge for the lost and hurting, and a strong place of discipleship for those following Jesus, and that is going to take all of us continually trying to do good. Lord, help me to do good today, to to be present, to be a blessing, to be willing to forgive and make amends, to go that extra mile. Use my life for Your glory. Amen 🙏🏼
