The author, Corrie Ten Boom, once said that when a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don’t throw away the ticket and jump off, you sit still and trust the engineer! It’s so tempting when we encounter difficult times to think we have to take control and figure it all out when actually the more fruitful way is to be still, to trust in our God who is good and faithful and able! Lord Jesus, help me to believe in You today, to trust Your character and Your plan for my life, and may I know Your peace as I cast my cares upon You, Amen 🙏🏼
