It is so tempting to live in the past, whether that is nostalgia, wishing to go back to a better time, or constantly remembering past regrets or hurts! But the past is the past and we can’t go back! Focusing on it will only stop me enjoying the present and embracing the future that God has prepared for me! Lord Jesus, thank you that with You there is always a new beginning, always hope and a future. Help me to be alert to what You are doing and where You are going, that there is a Promised Land on the other side of the desert, if I’ll just trust You and follow You, Amen 🙏🏼
