Jesus promises life beyond this life, that there is an eternal reality beyond what we experience in this world as temporary residents. As Christians we need to keep a steady eye on that future, that this life with all its struggles is not the be all and end all, our real home is not here but there! So let’s hold on to His promise. Jesus said He would suffer and die and then would rise again…and He did!! He can be trusted therefore when He said He has gone to prepare a place for us. He can be trusted when He said He will be coming back! He can be trusted when He said He had come to bring us life! It’s in Him that we find joy and the hope of a wonderful future! Lord, help me not to become so fixated on the things of this world that I lose sight of the life to come. I believe in You! Thank You for the brand new start You have gifted me by Your death and resurrection, now help me to live in the light of eternity. Amen 🙏🏼
