In this letter to the church in Ephesus, Jesus says that He sees their hard work and patient endurance but there is an issue regarding the way they love and that can be a real obstacle to His Kingdom purposes! In the same way, we can be busy doing good things and persevering through difficult situations but if our love for God and each other isn’t our top priority then something is seriously out of kilter and we need to stop, turn back to Him and do the things we used to do! Lord, search my heart today, if some good things have become a distraction to doing the right things then bring me back to that place of putting You first and loving other people well. Amen 🙏🏼
