We often think that if we could be rid of busyness and stress, free from pain, and away from the noise and demands of people then surely we would experience some peace? But that often just leads to boredom, numbness and a sense of isolation! Real peace is not found in the absence of something, it is found in the presence of someone — Jesus! If I want to experience peace and spiritual well-being, then the Bible is clear that it comes when I walk with the One who is the Lord of peace, when He is in control of my life rather than me! So Jesus, please be Lord of my life, and at the start of this new month, week and day, help me to be in constant communication with you, always aware of Your presence and keenly alert to Your leading and as I am, may You grant me Your peace, Amen 🙏🏼
