The peace the world gives is always conditional, temporary and so elusive. But God’s perfect peace is not like that, it is not something we strive for or earn, it is given as we trust in Jesus, available no matter what the situation, peace that has the ability to calm, encourage and strengthen, especially when I am feeling fearful or facing challenges! Lord, thank You for the gift of Your peace, Your presence with me and within me by Your Holy Spirit. Help me to fix my mind, my heart and my eyes on You today, filled with Your peace, not so that I can escape the world, but so I may be stronger to face it. Amen 🙏🏼
