Peace with everyone? // 30-12-19

“Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.” Hebrews‬ ‭12:14-15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I saw this on Facebook and thought what a great statement of intent as we come to the end of the year: ‘I’m walking into 2020 with a clear heart and mind. If you owe me, don’t worry about it – you’re welcome. If you wronged me, it’s all good – lesson learned. If you’re angry with me, you won. I’ve let it go. If we aren’t speaking, it’s cool (I love you and I wish you well). If I’ve wronged you, I apologise, it wasn’t intentional. I’m grateful for every experience I have received. Life is too short for pent up anger, grudges, extra stress or pain. Forgiveness is a gift to yourself. Make 2020 a year of forgiveness and a season of positivity.’ I so want to put this into practice and start the year with a clean slate, how about you? 🙏🏼
