New year’s resolutions are notoriously difficult to keep and almost always doomed to failure as I try to put my will power into action! What we actually need is God’s power, His strength to achieve, not what I want, but what He wills! So my commitment for 2020 is to follow hard after Him, to get to know Father God even better, through Jesus, filled with His Spirit, seeking His Kingdom and His right way of doing things, putting Him first in my life and trusting that He will take care of everything else that I need! Lord, that’s the goal, I want to be found as one of those whose hearts are fully committed to You, that I might know Your strength and provision to go do what You have called me to do.
