I was reminded earlier this week that my mind is the gateway to my heart and what I think about directly affects how I feel. If I focus on worries or disappointments my heart becomes heavy, my faith begins to wane and my courage falters. But if I focus on Jesus, if I think about all that He has done and all that I have, if I think about all that I am thankful for, it lifts my heart, it fuels my faith and it increases my confident trust in God! We get to choose where we fix our thoughts! It might take some initial mental effort but it is so worth it! Give it a try right now! Lord, thank You that You are my Rock! Thank You that my life IS in Your hands, thank You that Your plans are greater than mine. Help me to trust You today and let me experience Your amazing peace as I fix my eyes on You. Amen 🛡💪🏼🙏🏼
