This week I’ve been focusing on the power of God in these morning texts, but there’s a warning in 1 Thessalonians 5:19 (AMP) that says,
“Do not quench [subdue, or be unresponsive to the working and guidance of] the [Holy] Spirit.”
How sad it would be to have the Holy Spirit within me and yet not see His power working through me due to my own fear or ignorance! I’m praying that in this time of lock down God is getting our attention, and that as we ‘stir up’ the gift within He will use us in powerful ways to reach this lost and broken world with the Good News of Jesus! I would love to hear how God has been speaking to you, or if you have had opportunity to share your faith with anyone during these last few weeks? And if not yet then maybe today, it’s not too late to get with God’s agenda? Let’s be alert and responsive, because believe it or not God wants to involve you and me in His salvation plans! So,
“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” Ephesians 6:10 NLT 🙏🏼
