There is no fight between light and darkness, when light shines darkness automatically dispels! Walk into a dark room, flick the light switch and see what happens. Darkness only exists in the absence of light so we need to shine. As we look at Jesus and spend time with Him we reflect His light and become more able to shine like Him. It’s in our words and acts of kindness, compassion, justice and mercy that we shine the most and cause darkness to flee! Lord help me not to be overwhelmed by the darkness around me but to focus on being that light, making this world just a little bit brighter today. Amen 🙏🏼☀️
