No matter what I earn or gain or possess in this life, none of it lasts. At some point I will have to leave it all behind! All the hard work, long hours and stress won’t change the temporary nature of the things of this world. But knowing Jesus and living in the light of His death and resurrection, means I have a future beyond this life, it means that what I do in the here and now as I follow Him can have an eternal impact and will store up treasure in heaven! Lord, in all that I do today, help me to be alert to Your leading, with one eye on eternity, give me opportunity to talk about You and to point others to home and to what is of greatest value. Amen 🙏🏼
