The word that stood out for me during our church meet up on Zoom yesterday was ‘Trust’! To trust means to believe in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something! Here we are reminded NOT to rely on our own insight or understanding. My own thoughts and feelings are not always the most reliable source of truth, and I don’t have the ability to see the whole picture all at once. But God is and He does…so will I trust Him…even when things don’t make sense from my perspective? Lord, save me from my own shortsightedness, remind me how reliable, true and able You really are! Help me to cling to and rely on Your everlasting love, Your faithful promise and Your eternal plan, no matter what I encounter today. And grow in me the peace and confidence that always comes from putting my trust in You. Amen 🙏🏼
