There is real freedom that comes from knowing the One who created me, from accepting His gift of salvation, and from pursuing His will. It saves me from stressing about who I am, how I make myself right, and what I am here for? Knowing truth sets me free from having to try and work it all out on my own, navigating the confusion of not knowing who or what to believe? Jesus gives me identity, rightness with God and myself, and a real purpose! So let’s press in to Him, let’s tighten that belt of truth, let’s not be held back by anyone or anything calling our faith into question! As Paul says in 2 Timothy 1:12, …for I know Him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him… Lord, keep me running the race well, as I hold on to Your truth, help me to keep my eyes focused on You as I choose to pick up the pace today.
