“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” Psalms 119:105 NLT
An up to date illustration of the lamp would be a SatNav system in a car, that gives instructions, announces each turn, warns of obstacles ahead and is designed to ensure the destination is safely reached. It’s no good having the SatNav in your car if you’re not going to turn it on or do what it says, it works best when you listen to it, trust it and obey it, and so it is with the Word of God! Father, thank You for providing us with a guide and a light in the Bible, as I read it and heed it everyday, following Jesus, would You keep me on track and lead me safely home. Amen 🙏🏼📖
We’ve allocated this Sunday as our harvest appeal this year, asking for food items to restock our local food banks! Please bring to church whatever you can, and let’s make a difference for those struggling, especially during these testing Covid times. We’ll be collecting this Sunday and next! Don’t forget to book your seat via the Kingfisher website 👍🏼
