I read a quote this week that said, ‘Turning from God in order to escape hardship is as ridiculous as hiding from the sun in an effort to escape darkness. When faced with ordeals, we should seek the one who can make all things new.’ God is the source of light, the giver of good things. When we find ourselves in shadow it is not because the sun has stopped shining it is because something is between us and the light! It’s an indication that we need to get closer to the light source! Lord, draw me closer to You today, thank You that even in the valley of the shadow of death You are still with me! Thank You that beyond the clouds You are still shining. Remind me of the good things that You have provided, and the good things that You are doing in my life right now. Amen ☀️🙏🏼
