I woke up this morning with the words, ‘You matter to God’ in my mind. As much as I need to hear that, I believe this is for someone else, so I’m sending it out! We all have a need for affirmation, to be noticed and valued, and it’s when we don’t get that in a right and healthy way, or instead we receive a message that we are not valuable or lovable, that we can act out in ways to try and get the attention that we fundamentally need! But God loves you. He sees you, He values you! He wants you to know that your life counts and You matter to Him! Other people or things will never fill the need we have for knowing God like that! Jesus, thank You for the high price you paid for me by dying on a cross, thank You for showing how valuable I am to God. Help me to know the truth of that today and to realise my worth. Amen ❤️🙏🏼
