It is so easy to get caught up in polarising arguments at the moment, whether that is the royal family, Trump, Brexit, the government, or any number of other current issues. The media often fuels emotions and social media provides an easy platform that feeds hatred and offence. None of this is healthy for our own spiritual growth or for others, it often results in outrage, despair, fear and anxiety instead. What this world needs more than anything is Jesus, the Prince of peace! Lord, forgive me when I have added fuel to any fires that cause division. Make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me bring love. Where there is offence, let me bring pardon.
Where there is discord, let me bring union. Where there is error, let me bring truth. Where there is doubt, let me bring faith. Where there is despair, let me bring hope. Where there is darkness, let me bring your light. Where there is sadness, let me bring joy. Amen ❤️
