Despite the promises of Jesus about His resurrection, and the testimony of his friends who had encountered Him, Thomas stubbornly refused to believe that Jesus was alive, ‘I will not!’ I wonder what bottom lines we have with God when it comes to trusting Him, what it is we demand that He do before we will believe? Jesus’ said to Thomas “Because you have seen me you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29 NIV
Blessed means, happy, spiritually secure, favoured by God! Lord, I believe in You, and I make that choice to trust in You, even when I can’t see! Thank you for Your many promises to me and the testimony I hear from so many around the world that You are alive! Thank You that I am blessed, now help me to live in the light of that blessing today. Amen 🙏🏼☀️
