This Sunday is Pentecost, that day in the Christian calendar when the Holy Spirit first filled and empowered the disciples and sent them boldly out on to the streets proclaiming the good news of Jesus! Let’s be praying this prayer for each other: for strong roots of faith, for that affirming and stabilising knowledge of God’s love, for inner strength, to be filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit, empowered to be those witnesses for Jesus! Amen? 🙌🏼😊
