When the clouds are heavy passing over us, or when we are awake in the middle of the night, we might wonder where the sun has gone? It might feel absent because of the changing weather or the turn of the earth, but the truth is it hasn’t gone anywhere, it is still shining as brightly as it always does, still providing all that this world needs to sustain it! And it’s the same with our God, whatever tries to block the light from our eyes, whatever the twists and turns of life, God is always there, His light cannot be extinguished, darkness can never overcome Him. Lord, help me to see beyond the passing clouds and to appreciate all that You constantly provide to sustain me! Thank you for this new day. Amen ☀️🙌🏼
