“Hear my voice when I call, LORD; be merciful to me and answer me. My heart says of you, ‘Seek his face!’ Your face, LORD, I will seek.” Psalms‬ ‭27:7-8‬ ‭NIV

The Hebrew word for face means the ‘presence’ or the ‘wholeness of being’ of an individual. To seek God’s face is to seek to know Him, to seek His presence! We may not be able to physically see His face, but we can know His character, His love, and His mercy that are revealed in Jesus! God is not some genie at our beck and call who we use to grant wishes. He desires relationship, to include us in what He is doing, if only we would seek Him, dwell in His presence, and commit to getting to know Him more! Lord, thank You for making it possible for me to know You through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, thank You for Your reassuring, comforting, powerful guiding presence. Answer me as I call out to You today, speak to me in a way that is tangible and real, that I might truly see Your face! Amen 😊🙏🏼
