I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 18:3 NLT
What does it mean to become like little children? Well for a start they believe what their parents say, they trust their parents to provide for them, and get them to where they need to be. They believe their parents are wise and all-knowing (when does that stop lol). In the same way, Jesus says, we need to become like little children, which means having a confident trust in God as our Father, choosing to trust that He always knows best, trusting in His wisdom, His provision, and His plans! It means trusting in Jesus as my Shepherd, Saviour, and King, and trusting in the Holy Spirit who empowers me to follow! Lord God, I’m sorry for the times I haven’t believed You or trusted you as I should, help me today as I seek to trust You more, and as I do, may I experience more of Your Kingdom come in my life.
