No matter how bad the news gets or how out of control this world feels, I’m reminded of the incredible hope we have in Jesus, that we have His promise of return, that God is redeeming His creation, and there is a time coming when evil will cease to exist because of the saving work of Jesus! In fact the horrors happening right now in Europe don’t cause be to lose heart, they remind me to take heart because it just signals that the day of His return is closer than it’s ever been! Jesus said He had overcome the world so these times encourage me to hold tighter to Him, to make sure I’m alert and ready! Lord, thank You for the reports we are hearing from Your people in Ukraine whose morale has been boosted by prayer, whose faith has been strengthened, who have discovered that when all else fails they still have You! We continue to pray for Your intervention and supernatural protection, that the plans of the enemy will be confused and thwarted. May there be an even greater turning to You Lord Jesus in these darkest of days, that Your light would shine and Your glory seen. Amen 🙌🏼🙏🏼
