“So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” 2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT
Hey, welcome to a new week!Let’s decide right now what we are going to fix our thoughts on? There are so many troubles we could focus on, and yes, we certainly need to be aware of the times we are in and what we are facing, but there is a greater perspective that we can gain, that will stir hope and faith in us, as we intentionally think about the Kingdom of God: His plan, His provision, His promise, and His presence with me now! King Jesus, help me to remember that You reign over all! I determine to keep my eyes on You today, to not be distracted by the wind and waves that are there all around me, but to stay focused on You right in front of me. Thank You that Your loving arms are wide enough to hold me and long enough to catch me, that storms will come and go but You always remain. May I experience what it is to walk on water this week as take my instruction and my courage from You. Amen 🙌🏼❤️🔥
