“There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 NLT
I was reminded this morning of the importance of wearing my salvation. In Ephesians 6 it is described as a helmet! Well a helmet protects your head, it covers your mind! And our salvation has a name – JESUS!! (The Lord is salvation). Anxiety, stress, fear, temptation, ideology, identity, beliefs that stir our emotions and drive our decisions start in the mind. We need Jesus to fill our minds, His name to be on our lips, renewing our thoughts and influencing what we speak and how we act! Two songs were recalled during a prayer time this morning, “Step by step we’re moving forward, little by little taking ground, every prayer a powerful weapon, strongholds come tumbling down and down and down and down. We want to see Jesus lifted high, a banner that flies across this land, that all men may hear the truth and know He is the way to heaven.” “There is power in the name of Jesus, we believe in His name. We have called on the name of Jesus, we are saved, we are saved! At His name, the demons flee, at His name captives are freed. For there is no other name that is higher, than Jesus.” Lord, may Your name that saves, be the first thought in my mind and on my lips today. Thank You for saving me! Amen 🙌🏼😊
