“Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living. Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms 27:13-14 NLT
I often question why God doesn’t do things to my timescale? But I have learned, in over half a century, that His ways are perfect, He sees the whole picture, and has a much better view than I do. Times of waiting in the past have always changed me or grown me in some way as I have held onto His promises. And though I don’t always understand the whys? I have learned to trust that He IS good! Lord, I pray for all those who find themselves in tough situations right now waiting for answers or solutions. In this time of advent, of expectant waiting, remembering, and hoping, I pray for your divine intervention, for your salvation to be seen as it has been seen before, and for your joy to be felt in real and tangible ways. But also, in the meantime (times when life feels mean and unfair), would you strengthen confidence, would you accomplish something meaningful in the patient and courageous waiting. Would you grow resilient and enduring faith that will impact this world in amazing ways. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven! Amen 🙌🏼❤️
