I’ve been reminded again this week that we are in a spiritual battle and we have a very real enemy whose intent is to steal, kill, and destroy! He is an accuser, and Jesus calls him the father of lies; he sucks all the joy and peace out of life, his strategy to undermine faith, to instill fear, so that we would be taken down and out! It all sounds very intimidating, and if we were facing him alone we wouldn’t stand a chance. But here’s the truth for this Monday morning, we CAN be strong…in the Lord! God has given us protective armour so we can stand in His mighty power and confront any accusations and lies the enemy might aim our way. Jesus, would You surround me today, teach me Your truth, my heart beating with Your righteousness, my mind rejoicing in Your salvation, and my feet steadfast in the peace that only You can bring, my faith and confidence strong in Your love and power!
