I woke up this morning with a song on my mind, ‘I speak Jesus’ by Here be lions. Here’s how it starts:
“I just wanna speak the name of Jesus, over every heart and every mind. ‘Cause I know there is peace within Your presence, I speak Jesus.” And the chorus: “’Cause Your name is power, Your name is healing, Your name is life. Break every stronghold, shine through the shadows, burn like a fire.” He really is the Prince of Peace! I’ve taken up a challenge this week to pray at 9.30am, 12.30pm & 3.30pm, just for 5 minutes, to pause for three times in the day to remember the presence of Jesus, to talk to Him, to cast my cares upon Him, to rest in His peace, to speak His name and His life over the things I am facing right now. Lord, thank You for Your closeness. Thank You that I can approach You boldly and confidently knowing that You are always there. Help me to be alert to Your presence, to speak Your name at every opportunity and to truly experience Your peace today. Amen 🙌🏼😊
