“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”Acts 1:8 NLT
That word ‘power,’ in the original Greek is, ‘Dunamis,’ it’s where the English words dynamite and dynamic come from, and has a meaning of potential or ability, in this case divine ability to accomplish the work of God. This is beyond what we can do in our own strength, but is God’s explosive and on the move strength and potential and ability given to us as we are filled with His Holy Spirit! Lord, i need to be continually filled with the You. Holy Spirit come fill me afresh, and give me the power, the dunamis, that I need to accomplish all that You are calling me to do today, and may my life witness to the truth of who You are, taking every opportunity to tell of the wonderful things You have done. Amen 🔥👆🏼🙏🏼
