“But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted to the Lord’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.” Psalms 92:12-13 NLT
To be transplanted is to be moved from one place to another. In this case to the Lord’s house, to the courts of our God (an open enclosure within the temple grounds – that meeting place with God). Through Jesus we have access, we’ve been transplanted, and it’s here that we can really flourish. Cedars represent strength and endurance, they always stay green, and palm trees grow tall, they have the ability to bend whatever the weather conditions so stay rooted and fruitful! Lord, thank You that I can enter Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise. Thank You that I have been transplanted into Your house, that as I meet with You and worship You I have everything I need to grow strong. Help me to fully appreciate my right standing with You because of Jesus and all that I now have in Christ, and as a result to be like those trees – flourishing! Amen 🌴👆🏼🙏🏼
