“And now, Lord, for what do I expectantly wait? My hope [my confident expectation] is in You.” Psalms 39:7 AMP
To expectantly wait is to have eager anticipation, to get ready trusting that something is about to happen! And the question from the text is, ‘For what do I expectantly wait?’ reminding us that when our hope is in the Lord, in His love, His wisdom, His power, and His good, pleasing and perfect plan, then we CAN pray with confident expectation that God WILL answer, and He WILL act, and He WILL lead us! Lord, I confidently expect You to work through me this week, so I will look for opportunities to meet up with people, to encourage and to speak Your words of life and truth to all those that I come into contact with. My hope is in You, that You can and will use even me to reach those who so desperately need to know You. Amen 👆🏼🙌🏼
