“When the angels had returned to heaven, the shepherds said to each other, “Let’s go to Bethlehem! Let’s see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.””Luke 2:15 NLT
This Sunday marks the beginning of Advent, that time of preparation and expectant waiting for the arrival of Jesus. It’s a time when we think about the hope, peace, joy and love that come with knowing His presence. When the shepherds heard about the arrival of a Saviour, hope stirred within them, activating faith that caused them to move! “Let’s go…Let’s see!” I’m praying that as this Good News about Jesus is preached and proclaimed this Advent that it will stir hope once again igniting faith and a curiosity to seek Him out and move people to action! Let’s not underestimate the power of the Gospel – Jesus You are still the hope of the whole world and the only One who can Save us! Thank You for saving me, now use me to bring that same hope to others. Amen 👆🏼🙏🏼❤️
