“Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]“ John 14:27 AMP
Peace does not necessarily mean there will be an absence of trouble. What it does mean is that you will have the presence of the Holy Spirit with you and in you, your Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counsellor, Strengthener, Standby). Knowing who is with you; Knowing the wisdom and power that is dwelling within you, that’s the peace that can calm you in every circumstance, and give you courage and strength for every challenge! Lord Jesus, thank You for giving us Your gift of peace. Help me to be aware of Your presence with me today whatever I am faced with, not allowing myself to be disturbed by trouble or permitting myself to be intimidated and unsettled. I choose to stand firm in Your peace, trusting that You will make all things right as I surrender to Your will, safe in the knowledge that You are holding and leading me through this week. Amen 👆🏼🙏🏼
