“The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.” Romans 8:11 NLT
Just read that first sentence again! If I have asked Jesus into my life, trusting Him to save me, then that same resurrection power now lives in me…and you!! I was reminded this week that a firework has such power and potential placed in it to shine, to soar to incredible heights but it needs to be lit! It is no good lying dormant in a box. The first disciples went from hiding in a room to changing the world, only made possible when the Holy Spirit came with tongues of fire and set them alight and there was an explosion of bold evangelism! Lord, come and fill me afresh today, light the touch paper that I might realise and move in that power of Yours, that now lives in me, Amen 🙏🏼
