“But the boat [by this time] was already a long distance from land, tossed and battered by the waves; for the wind was against them. And in the fourth watch of the night (3:00-6:00 a.m.) Jesus came to them, walking on the sea.” Matthew 14:24-25 AMP
Things couldn’t have been any worse for the disciples! The night was at its darkest, the storm it’s fiercest, the boat at its furthest from safety! They must have felt helpless, hopeless and wondering where was God in this moment? That’s often how we can feel too in a crisis situation. But Jesus came to them, supernaturally!! He didn’t airlift them out of danger but He met them in the midst of the storm, nothing was an obstacle to His presence! Lord, help me not to panic and not to be afraid when life is dark and I feel the wind against me. Help me to always look for You and to realise you are with me! Use these times to build my faith and trust in You. Amen 🙏🏼
