If peace is eluding me then I need to ask myself, how much am I committed to and focused on knowing Jesus? Is my mind steadfast, trusting in His rock-solid presence and promise, or is it distracted and disturbed, flitting all over the place? Am I taking refuge in Him or something else? Lord, save me from the temporary fix or solution of my making, I want Your perfect peace, found in Your ever-lasting, never-failing love! Help me to stay committed and focused in my pursuit of You.
