“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.” Acts 16:25 NIV
Paul and his friend Silas found themselves in the worst of times, and it was midnight! who knows that everything always feels worse in the middle of the night? But what if we turned our attention in those moments, to the God who holds it all in His hands, whose love is unfailing, the One who will stay with us and faithfully hold on to us? How about lifting up a song of praise right there and then to Him who knows all things and can do all things? We might find then that our confession changes from, ‘How am I going to survive this?’ to, ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!’ Father, I choose to praise You today for Your steadfastness. Help me to stay as close to You as You are to me. Amen 🙌🏼😊
