“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.” Psalms 19:14 NLT
The words we speak are powerful. What we confess with our mouths, whether positive or negative, will have an impact on our lives and the lives of others. In fact, what we say actually reveals what is truly in our hearts (John 2:25). A good way of assessing the state of my heart, and what it is full of, is to monitor what is coming out of my mouth. I’ve been thinking about this recently as I’ve read the Gospel of Mark and listened to what people said in the hours prior to the crucifixion of Jesus. Real insight into where people were at with Him, and what is was that got in the way of them seeing who He really was. A real reminder to me of my need of a Saviour to cleanse my heart, and to keep it full of faith! Going to be sharing about this on Sunday morning 10am – kingfisherchurch.online.church. Lord, thank You that when my heart is overwhelmed, I can put my trust in You, my Rock and my Redeemer, I can meditate on You, and I can speak a positive confession about who You are and who I am! May my heart be full of You today. Amen. ❤️🙏🏼
