“Carry one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the requirements of the law of Christ [that is, the law of Christian love].” Galatians 6:2 AMP
One of the great things about being part of the family of faith is experiencing the love of God in a tangible hands on way through His people, knowing there are others I can call on who want the best for me and who I can share my concerns and worries with, those who will pray for me, support me, and counsel me! I’m not sure where I would be if I hadn’t had the love of God’s church around me, people who would share the weight of things that seemed too heavy for me to bear on my own at times. We need each other, but it takes reaching out and asking for a listening ear if you need to talk, and asking for prayer if you have a burden that is weighing you down. We may not be able to fix each other’s situations but we can certainly stand together and pray for each other and encourage one another in Christ, trusting that He has got this! If you want to pray for me, I’m asking for wisdom, boldness and the courage to overcome my very human anxieties and to lead our church fearlessly into this new post lockdown era! But what about you? How can I pray for you today? 🙌🏼🙏🏼
