Zechariah had just seen God realise a promise that seemed impossible to fulfil, for his wife to have a baby in her old age when she had always been unable to conceive. Full of faith he prophesied about the coming of Jesus, with a new appreciation that if God has promised something then it will come to pass, no matter how long it takes, or how unconducive circumstances are to that promise. He knows best, He is faithful to His word, and His timing is perfect! Trust Him in the waiting, trust Him when the situation looks impossible, trust that He can and does make a way! Lord, I choose to put my hope in You today, my redeemer and mighty Saviour. Amen 🙌🏼😊
