Message from the pastor

Welcome to Kingfisher here in Tredworth. We believe that church is home, a place of refuge and belonging no matter who you are, what your background is or what past experiences you have had.  We recognise that everyone is at different stages, so whether you are just looking and exploring faith, seeking support and/or answers to life’s tough questions or someone looking to get involved and put to use your God-given gifts then there is a place here at Kingfisher for you – Welcome Home!

Ollie Bennett – Pastor, Kingfisher Tredworth

We have a 10am service every Sunday which is primarily aimed at making church an easy place to bring our friends who may not yet know Jesus.

There’s an 11:30am service which is a really fun service which is Learning Disability friendly (although all are welcome) and it’s a very interactive and different way of having church together.

We also have a 6pm service which is primarily aimed at encouraging and developing those who are already christians. This has been described as the “powerhouse” of the church. This is where we often get to hear testimonies of how God is working in the lives of being coming to church!

First Visit Plan

We’re so glad you’ve decided to visit us! You’ll find a list of commonly asked questions. Please don’t hesitate to send us a message or give us a call at 01452 304339 or contact us via email or Facebook!

How do I get there?

You can find detailed schedule information and directions below.

What should I wear?

Our church has a “come as you are” atmosphere. You will see some dressed up; some dressed casual. We have no expectations for attire.

First Steps

If you’re interested in getting connected at our church or involved in the life of the church, then consider these first steps.

For those that are curious about the Christian faith and what we believe we run regular enquirers courses of you to come and meet people, eat good food and hear some answers to your questions.

If you’ve just got to know Jesus we have a foundations course which is run as part of our Connect Groups or individually which gives a really solid grounding in the in and outs of why we do what we do. Why pray? Why do we worship together? Why do we tithe?

There are many ways to get involved. Here are four of them:

1) Come to a worship service on the weekend.

2) Look into joining a Connect Group, and get to know some great people.

3) Come join us in any of our social activities throughout the year!

4) Find an opportunity to serve, here, near or far.
